Hi there, I'm Camille
I work as a project manager, a parent, and an expat based in Paris, France.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to France wasn’t in the long-range plan. As with many expat relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more substantial.
The initial months were intense — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Daily chores seemed more complex than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began crafting something that felt steady.
Why I Built Brelio Havor Cavik
Most online guidance was either corporate relocation advice or lightweight tourism material. What was missing was a candid, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap with practical advice drawn from real-life experiences in France.
